Christmas Light Installation in Dover, MA

Dover has almost no streetlights. That is the whole opportunity — lights here land harder than anywhere else we work, because there is nothing competing with them.

What Dover houses actually need

Most of the towns we cover fight ambient light. Streetlights, storefronts, headlights, neighbors' floodlights all wash out a display a little. Dover does not have much of that. On a dark Dover road a well-lit house is the only thing happening, and warm white reads much richer than it does on a lit suburban street. You genuinely need fewer lights here to get a bigger reaction.

The flip side is the same one as Weston: these are large properties and the houses sit well back, often up a long driveway behind trees. So we plan Dover displays from the road inward. Driveway entrance first, then the trees along it, then the house itself for the people who are actually arriving.

Because Dover is small and almost entirely residential, your display is also the only marketing we get out here. We will be honest about that — we want your house to be the one people mention, and we would rather scope it properly once than cut corners and have it be the house that has three dark bulbs in January.

Usually the right fit: Showstopper. Dark roads and deep setbacks make tree and driveway lighting the part that actually shows. This is the package built for that.

Do I need fewer lights because Dover is so dark?

Often, yes — and we will say so at the demo. With no streetlights competing, warm white at a normal density looks richer here than the same install on a lit street. We would rather sell you the right amount and have it look expensive than oversell you.

Will you come back out for one bad bulb?

Yes. Service calls are free all season in Dover the same as everywhere else. Text us and we will get out. Dover is a smaller run for us so we may fold it into the next trip out that way, but it gets fixed.

Do I have to buy the lights?

No. The lights, clips, and timers are all included in your price. We bring everything and we store it after the season.

When do you take them down?

Early January. We take everything down, pack it up, and store it until next year.

What if a bulb or section goes out?

Text us and we'll come fix it for free. Service calls are included all season.
